The turn around time depends on the order, in all cases we
get the job done as fast as possible. For an average job, the turn around time
is 2-3 business days, but it all depends on size, quantity, availability, etc.
We always try to meet any of your deadline requests.
Are
your products weatherproof?
Our standard Vinyl
Banners last about 3-5 years, but we've seen longer. You can buy heavy duty
banner material or High performance vinyl to extend the life of you banner. All
of our Vinyl banners are weatherproof (rain, wind, snow, etc). We use UV
resistant inks allowing our vinyl printed digital prints to last for up to 2
years without lamination and up to 3-4 years with high performance vinyl and
lamination.
Are
your prices competitive?
When comparing
apples to apples we believe our prices are very competitive. We always put out
the highest quality for the same price as our competitors. We will never
sacrifice quality for price.
What kind of image should I use
for a photograph?
If you’re using a photograph, then you should use a good resolution JPG
image. Try to find the highest quality image with a file size less than 6
megabytes (6 MB).
What kind of image should I use
for a Logo or clipart?
To use a logo, or some type image
created by a graphics professional from solid lines and colors (specifically
called 'vector art'), then EPS is the best choice. By using an EPS file in your
design, you can retain the sharp lines in your original image, even if the file
size you use is very small. If you do not have access to an EPS file, then GIF
or PNG file formats will provide you with the next best print quality. Again,
try to find the highest quality image with a file size less than 6 Megabytes (6
Mb). You can send your logo through our easy to use upload artwork page.
How can I tell if my image is good?
One way to see the quality of your
image is to open it in an image viewer. Zoom in on the image, or enlarge it a
great deal, and see if the image is very grainy. This is a good indication of a
poor quality image. In general, it is good practice to find the highest quality
image you can.
Why
shouldn't I use my web site images for signs?
Well this is a wide
statement. Web images can be great if they are high resolution images and very
large in size, but most are under 50k. 50 kilobytes is drastically small
considering 3 sq. ft. should be 24 megabytes. Also they are bitmap, which means
4 color process prints. Basically web images are normally not a safe source for
art.
How long will it take to
upload my photo?
Upload times will vary depending on the size of the file being
uploaded, and the Internet connection speed. It is not unusual to wait for
several minutes when uploading large files.
Can I just mail or e-mail
my photos?
You may e-mail your photos to us at info@hangabanner.com
Anything else I should know?
Where ever possible order as early
as possible, this gives time to get it just right. Allow 3-5 days for priority
mail.
Can I see a layout before I order or give you my credit card number?
Of course! We would not expect you
to commit to an order without knowing exactly what you are getting. If you
would like to see a layout, contact us with the size of banner, typestyle and
text you want on your banner. We will send a layout to you via email. If the
layout is not what you were looking for, just reply to the email with your
instructions. We will send a revised proof with the changes you requested. If
you choose to enter your credit card at the time you place your order (which
90% of our customers do) we will not charge your card until you have approved
the layout and your banner is being put into production.
When will I see my proof?
Please allow up to 12 hours for us
to get a proof back to you. However, you will usually see your layout within
just a few hours.
Do you ship outside of USA
and Canada?
Yes, we do. But please take note
of the differing shipping charges for the orders.
What if my shipment is late for my event?
We do not guarantee shipping or
arrival time for any product or order. Even with Air or Expedited Shipping your
package may be delivered late by the carrier. We cannot take responsibility for
your order once it leaves our shop. All delivery issues should be addressed
directly to UPS.
PLEASE NOTE: Even if you choose
Next Day Air, it doesn’t mean you will receive your order the next day. It
takes at least a day to pack and ship your order. If you must have your order
by a certain day, you should use a local sign company where shipping won’t be
an affect your deadline.
What if my order arrives damaged?
We insure every package we ship
for the original cost of your product. If the package is damaged, contact the
shipping company to start an insurance investigation. We do not investigate
shipping damage.
What if the order printed wrong?
With our online design process,
we can only print the information you enter. We encourage you to double-check
all information, graphics and colors before you submit your order. We cannot be
held responsible for mistakes in your ad copy. If you still feel we are at
fault, please ask for an investigation into your case.
Can
you Guarantee color match?
No we can not. We can provide you
with a color sample via Mail. It is not possible to provide proofs to all of our
customers that will look exactly like the actual product. This is for two
reasons.
- Everyone uses different
computer monitors and settings.
- A computer screen is
illuminated, so the colors will appear different on the screen than they
do in real life.
If I have a problem, how quickly will you respond?
Our usual response time is one
(1) business day or less. In many cases, your question or concern will be
addressed within three hours.
Are banners hemmed and grommet?
Yes. All banners are made from at
least 13 oz vinyl material and are hemmed and grommet. Hemmed banners are
generally more attractive and durable than those that are not. Being grommet
means that the banner comes with brass lined holes and is ready for hanging.
What are grommets?
Grommets
are "Brass Eyelets", meaning, they are circular brass fixtures that
are placed into a banner. These grommets allow rope to be feed through the
banner, and installed wherever needed.
How
should I store my banner so it lasts longer?
All banners should be rolled, not folded and
placed either in its original
packaged box. If you fold/flatten banners, they can develop permanent
creases.
Can
I place and order over the telephone?
Sure can! Give us a call at (951) 678-6496 or (866) 694-7874
